Adavi Myah

Jai Bhim!

We are so excited to present the second installation of our show “Where Art Belongs” 2024 in Cambridge Massachusetts at the Foundry! It will be second time Adavi Myah presents it's show featuring visual art, poetry, music, and more from caste oppressed artists from South Asia. Over 40 artist’s work will be displayed and the pieces come from Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Delhi, and Kashmir. They include fine art students, art teachers, and others with no formal training.

Our opening reception with live performances will take place on:
Saturday June 8
3:45 PM EST (2:30AM IST) at The Foundry in Cambridge
Located at 101 Rogers Street Cambridge, MA 02142.

Adavi Myah is an all volunteer organization. We do not charge our artists any fees and we pay our artists 100% of the proceeds from any sales of their work. Our last show in 2022 was the first art exhibition in the USA to feature a show with exclusively Dalit and Bahujan artists.

We will also be live streaming the event for anyone who cannot attend in person.

The Foundry is a fully wheelchair-accessible space with single-user bathrooms on site. While we will not be burning or spraying anything, we unfortunately cannot guarantee this public event will be fragrance-free. Travel & parking details can be found at the link below:
